Thoroughly decadent and deliciously moist, this 8 inch, two layer Chocolate Fudge Cake is filled and covered with chocolate mousse frosting, decorated with swirls of frosting, dark chocolate vermicelli and an edible gold paste birthday number for the centre.

This cake is prepared with an original recipe created by the Baker. Ingredients include Callebaut belgian chocolate, Doves Farm flours and Lurpak butter. Freshly baked to order with hand delivery to your door by us within our catchment area.

"This is an impressive-looking cake with a flamboyant degree of swirling chocolate frosting. The sponge base is light, moist and flavourful, while the chocolate in the frosting is rich, dark, enjoyable and balances well with the restrained sweetness..."

The sponge is light yet moist, which makes it most enjoyable to eat. The mousse frosting has a rich and satisfying flavour. The overall cake is not too sweet. We wouldn't know this was gluten-free."
